Yeah, I know…this newsletter is late. It’s the 7th, and I’m just finally finishing it up.
The holiday weekend will receive at least some of the blame (blame deflection is fun<g>!) Julie and I decided to take a few days and head down to Mexico. Oddly this is only the 3rd time in 17 years that she and I have vacationed without kids, grandkids, in-laws or a convention being part of the mix. A great time was had by all (check out the underground caves, or Cenotes, in Cancun).
We received some great news. Simplex-IT was recognized by MSPMentor, a vendor-neutral site focused on the MSP (Managed Service Provider) community worldwide. We’re in the top 501 worldwide. Pretty cool (this is the 3rd time we’ve been recognized).
Next week we’ve got a cool event going on, where we’ll help companies put together their IT Policies and Procedures for their organizations. Honestly we’ve had trouble communicating the value of this event, although the feedback from our test run was really great! It’s critical for companies to communicate the proper “do’s and don’ts” in terms of IT. Bring Your Own Device, employee termination, equipment disposal and the like. We’ll help companies put the policies together during this event. There are still seats available!
We also implemented (seemingly a small thing) new email signatures for the organization, adding a consistency that we missing before.
Our Project IT is nearing public display. Stay tuned for that!
The book is coming along, slowly but surely. Looks like it’ll be in the 125-150 page range. Fingers crossed for completion during the summer.
I’ll be giving another webinar on Office 365 Admin, this time specifically about OneDrive for Business Administration.
There's more to come, but that'll have to do for now.
